Abstract

 

 

Art. 1 of this law imposes a fee of 20 Riyals on every person leaving Qatar through Doha International Airport.

 

In accordance with Art. 2, the following categories are exempted from this requirement:

  1. Employees of Ministries and other governmental bodies who are sent on official missions.
  2. Diplomats and their families residing in Qatar.
  3. Employees of Humanitarian Agencies and Organizations.
  4. Members of friendly armed forces entering Qatar for purposes of training or assistance.
  5. Official Qatari and foreign delegations.
  6. Crew members of various airlines as long as they are wearing their official uniforms.
  7. Transit passengers.
  8. Children below the age of 12.
  9. Handicapped persons.
  10. Citizens above the age of 60.
