The law guarantees the right to litigation, which is accorded to all people (Art. 25). The law also guarantees a number of freedoms and rights including the freedom to practice religious rights (Art. 28), the freedom of opinion and expression (Art. 29) as well as many others. Art. 35 relates solely to foreigners who are legally present in the Sultanate. They shall enjoy protection for themselves and their property in accordance with the law and are required to observe the values of the Society and respect the traditions and sentiments thereof. |
