Abstract |
|
This ministerial decision allows a retired alien who had worked for the public or private sector for no less than fifteen years to apply for a residence permit (Art. 1).
The alien must fulfill the following conditions to qualify for a residence permit (Art. 2):
A residence permit under personal sponsorship shall be granted for a period not exceeding five years and may be renewed for a similar period or less (Art. 4). The wife of an alien residing in the Kingdom under personal sponsorship may be granted a residence permit without the right to work upon the husband’s request (Art. 5). The fee for issuance or renewal of a residence permit is 60 Dinars per year (Art. 6). The alien and his dependents who have been granted a residence permit under personal sponsorship may not seek employment in the public or private sector (Art. 7). They may also enter and leave the country without obtaining an entry visa as long as they spend six months in any given year in the Kingdom (Art.8). |
